
Associate of Arts in Teaching
There are a variety of AAT degrees targeted to teaching pre-k through fourth grade, fourth through eighth grade and senior high that students can earn at Eastfield College. Our advisors work closely with students using the transfer guide for the university where they plan to complete their studies, so that every course will count toward their bachelor's degree.

A.A.S. Degree Requirements
The Associate of Applied Sciences in Child Development prepares students for careers with young children. Graduates include: head start teachers, directors, teacher aides, family advocates, parent educators, child specialists, and caseworkers. Course topics include: 16 courses in Child Development, English, Math, Government, Speech, Computer Literacy, Psychology and Humanities.
Certificate and Awards
Eastfield College offers five certificates and three skills achievement awards that do not require successful completion of all sections of the TSI program. In order to pursue two of the five certificates, a student must pass the reading and writing sections of a TSI approved exam or complete the developmental course sequence for reading and writing.
